THE TOUR
We think that the best way to get to know a country, its culture and history is through the tradition, language and food. We want to show you Prague, tell you the history of this country through the eyes of a local who knows the city best. Come along and explore our favorite traditional Czech restaurants, amazing pubs, breweries and deli shops off the beaten track. All of these locations feature various acclaimed entrées, desserts and beverages for you to indulge in. While you enjoy these unique tastes of tradition we will provide you with an insight into the food being served, the history behind the people who prepared it, and the places you're visiting. You will also encounter the sights, sounds and stories behind our well-known historical landmarks. The aim of this traditional tour is not just to show you the local gastronomy and specialties, but also to help you find your way around Prague and understand what we Czechs are like. Food aside, we will do our best to answer any questions you may have about our city, our culture or about just anything you may like to know. All you have to do is take a tour with us, and then just sit back and enjoy your culinary ride throughout your stay. We make sure to satisfy your appetite and quench your thirst in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

ABOUT
Vladimír was born in Prague. He studied cultural antropology and Mongolian at the Charles University in Prague. He travelled a lot mainly around his beloved Mongolia and China. After some years in advertising he left his office job and decided to do something he is really into. His love for his home town, food and history brought about the idea of sharing it with others.

While this tour would have been great at any point during our Prague vacation, it was an especially nice way to kick things off as it provided a great overview of wonderful restaurants and bakeries that we will be returning to during the remainder of our time here. Vladimir was a superb host for this adventure: ensuring we knew exactly where to meet ahead of time, being very responsive to questions, and even providing contact information should we need any additional guidance/suggestions during our time in Prague. Overall, it was a very pleasant way to spend the afternoon, and the small group setting made it easy to make new friends and learn more about those who were also part of our tour. Highly recommended!

Spent four hours in interesting conversation walking around with Vladimir. As someone who grew up through the transition from the Soviet times, he has seized on the excitement of the new Prague food culture after the dark insular era of domestic-only ingredients and no creativity Even after 1989, independent restaurants faltered with the best intentions but little outside world practical experience and inspiration. Vladimir is energetic and engaging. Go hungry. Highly recommended.

The best (most fun) way to learn about a different culture is through their food!!! This was an awesome way to experience Prague with an ‘insiders’ view. It’s obvious these guys are ‘pros’ and take their food seriously. Selections (locations & food) are well researched and many additional recommendations given. Let me start with saying that it’s very easy to get lost in the many options of restaurants in Prague that all offer the same types of meals. Which one is good? Or great? Not knowing anything about Czech food this tour was outstanding! Vladimir our guide was very friendly, informative and very accommodating. Over the course of 3 hours we visited several restaurants, A famous old school deli and a local bakery for some tasty desserts. We chatted about local cuisine to the history of the Czech people! It is a good tour after all. Totally worth the money!
